Description
An authentic French Model 1866 Chassepot yataghan-style sword bayonet. Features a recurved steel blade with a deep fuller, brass ribbed grip, and a steel crossguard with a forward-swept hooked quillon. The blade shows a dark aged patina with some surface pitting and oxidation consistent with age.
