A German Third Reich Fire Brigade Decoration (Feuerwehr-Ehrenzeichen) 2nd Class. The medal features a white enameled cross with red flames and a central swastika on a yellow background. The reverse-facing circular band is inscribed 'Für Verdienste im Feuerlöschwesen'. This award was instituted in 1936 to recognize members of professional and volunteer fire brigades for merit or long service.
