Description
A German military issue steel scabbard for the Mauser K98 bayonet. The throat is stamped with the manufacturer code S/172 and the production year 1940. The reverse side features the serial number 8935 h. This piece includes the standard frog stud and ball finial tip characteristic of Wehrmacht infantry equipment from the early Second World War period.
