A 1939 Iron Cross Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). The obverse features a central swastika and the date 1939 at the base. The reverse displays the institution date 1813. The medal consists of a multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core and a silvered frame. Shows significant age-related patina, oxidation to the core, and loss of silvering. Includes the original suspension ring.
