A lidded pewter tankard featuring hand-engraved floral decorations and a central laurel wreath. The wreath encloses the initials 'J.L.J.M.' and 'M.J.D.' above the date 1813. The vessel is constructed with a hinged domed lid, a decorative thumbpiece, and a curved handle with a lower spur. Scalloped border engraving encircles the base of the cylindrical body.
