A pair of German Empire 1914 Iron Cross Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse) military decorations. Each medal features a black iron core within a silvered frame, displaying the crown, the 'W' monogram for Kaiser Wilhelm II, and the 1914 institution date. Both awards are suspended from their respective black and white striped combatant ribbons with horizontal pin-back mounting bars.
